Initial pre-launch version. This page describes LettSpeak’s current technical operation. Before commercial launch we will complete the controller identity, formal contact channel, final retention periods and remaining contractual documentation.
Data we process
During personalisation we may process the recipient name, letter text, photographs, voice recordings, design choices and data needed to fulfil the order. The payment provider processes data needed for payment.
How we handle your audio
While you record and edit, audio remains in your browser. When you place an order, the file is uploaded through a temporary link to private storage. LettSpeak does not use recordings to train artificial intelligence models.
We do not review message content as part of routine moderation. Human access is limited to what is reasonably necessary to manufacture the product, provide support, resolve an issue or meet a legal obligation.

Before launch we will review each provider’s contractual setup, processing locations and applicable international transfer mechanisms.
Retention
The current system automatically deletes unpaid draft orders after 48 hours. Paid orders do not yet have a final automatic deletion period configured. Before launch we will establish and implement documented retention periods for audio, photographs and order data.
Your rights
Under applicable law, individuals may have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability. Before commercial opening we will publish the formal channel for exercising these rights and the controller’s full identity.
Children and other people’s content
If you upload photographs, voices or other third-party content, you must have a legitimate basis to use it. Content involving children requires particular care and will be processed only for purposes necessary to provide the service.
What we are preparing
We are preparing automatic deletion periods for paid orders, a GDPR rights procedure, a cookie policy based on technologies actually used, an internal processing register, access reviews and an incident-response procedure.
